Hi and welcome to Words of Deliciousness. My name is Dawn Yucuis. I am a wife, a mom, a grandma, and the blogger behind Words Of Deliciousness. I have been blogging for 3+ years and I love it.
I grew up in Wisconsin on a dairy farm in a large family. My mom was a great cook and baker, she is the inspiration behind my love of cooking and baking. When I was growing up there was always homemade breads, great food on the table, and wonderful baked treats. Today one of my favorite things to make are bread items, mainly scones.
My husband Mike and I have 4 grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, one granddaughter, and another grandchild on the way. I love it when our children and granddaughter come for meals and I can cook for them. There is always a joy to sit down with family to enjoy a good meal. My mom always said that she liked to show her love through her food and I guess I have that same feeling.
Since I have started my blogs I have tried new herbs and spices or at least one that are new to me. I hope you enjoy my recipes and will stop frequently to see what I have cooking. If you would like to leave a comment please do, I would love to hear from you.
