Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries cleaned and stems removed
  • 4 medium peaches peel removed
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • In a large blender add the strawberries and peaches. Process until the fruit is pureed.
  • Pour the pureed fruit into a large bowl.
  • Add the Greek yogurt, cream, sugar, and vanilla to the food processor and process until well blended.
  • Add the yogurt mixture to the pureed fruit and blend in. Pour into a loaf pan and freeze 3 to 5 hours.
  • If the yogurt is frozen hard let it set on the counter or the refrigerator until desire consistency.

Notes

  1. Select fruit that is ripe. This will create a frozen yogurt with better flavor.
  2. Peel the peaches by blanching them in boiling water, then cooling them, and then peeling.
  3. Wash and dry the strawberries. Remove the stems.
  4. If the frozen yogurt is frozen too hard, let set on the counter or the refrigerator until the desired consistency.
