White Sauce For Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8- ounce uncooked spaghetti
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup onion chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 3 cups cheese I love a bag of mixed cheese - Provolone, Romano, Asiago, and Parmesan
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 pound Italian sausage for meatballs

Instructions

  • If you would like to make the meatballs for this dish, they can be made first and set aside.
  • Cook the spaghetti using the directions on the box
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add the onion and green pepper, saute the vegetables until just about tender then add the garlic, continue to cook until vegetables are cooked through.
  • Add the cream and wine, stir in.
  • Add the cheese stir until the cheese is melted.
  • Stir in the Italian seasoning.
  • Toss in the spaghetti and meatballs
  • Serve.
