Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
Mix the egg, orange juice, orange zest, and oil in another bowl.
Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
Add the cranberries and nuts and fold in.
Spread the batter in the prepared loaf pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until a wooden pick is inserted in the middle of the loaf it comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Cool the bread in the loaf pan for about 5 minutes. Remove the bread from the loaf pan and cool on a cooling rack.
