Cut the Italian sausage links into bites size pieces about 1-inch. In a large skillet cook the sausages until no longer pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside
While cooking the Italian sausage cook the pasta according to the directions on the box. Once the pasta is done, drain and set aside.
Once the sausage is removed from the skillet pour of any grease that may be in the skillet. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil along with the peppers and onion.
Cook over medium heat until peppers and onions are tender. add the garlic, cherry tomatoes, and basil and cook another 1 to 2 minutes or until the tomatoes start to get a little soft.
Add the Italian sausage, pasta and toss until well mixed. Mix in the mozzarella cheese. Heat until the cheese is melted and the sausage and pasta are heated through. Serve
