Spiced French toast-
Blend together the egg, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and honey in a shallow dish. Dip the bread in the egg mixture making sure that each side is coated well. Melt butter in a skillet and brown each side of the French toast. Serve immediately.
Peach compote-
Slice peaches thinly and add them to a small sauce pan. Add the water, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce heat. Continue to cook until the peach have thickened and peaches are soft, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Serve over French toast or it could be used for an ice cream topping.
