White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.
  • In a large bowl cream the butter and the sugars together with an electric mixer. Add the eggs and mix until combined. Mix in the vanilla.
  • Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt, add to the dough and mix in.
  • Fold in the macadamia nuts and the white chocolate chips.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on the prepared cookie sheets.
  • Place in the preheated oven bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven and place on cooling rack, Cool completely, store in an airtight container
  • Cookies can be frozen.
