Ingredients

  • 15 ounces pumpkin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves

Cinnamon whipped cream (optional)

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl whisk together the sugar, eggs, heavy whipping cream, vanilla, and all of the spices. Once this blended together add the pumpkin and whisk until the ingredients are mixed well.
  • Divide into 6 custard cups and place on a baking pan. 
  • Place the pudding into the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is set.  Remove from the oven and cool
  • If you desire to serve with the cinnamon whipped cream here are the instructions to make the whipped cream. In a large bowl add the whipping cream, powdered sugar, and cinnamon, beat unit soft peaks form. Add the vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form. 
  • Add a dollop of the cinnamon whipped on top of the cooled baked pumpkin pudding and serve.
