Old Fashioned Dumplings

Egg Dumplings are tender small dumplings that taste great in soups.

My favorite way to serve them is in chicken dumpling soup flavored with onions, carrots, and celery.


Egg Dumplings are made with only 3 ingredients:

3 Large Eggs, 1 1/2 - 2 cups all-purpose flour and 3 tablespoons milk

Beat the eggs and milk together


In a medium bowl beat the eggs and milk together.

Gradually beat in the flour


You will want to beat in flour until batter is thick, but moist.

Drop the dumplings in boiling broth


Once all dumplings are added, bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and cook for 15 to 30 minutes


Time will vary depending on the size of your dumplings.
