Scones: Flour Baking Powder Salt Sugar Butter Eggs Heavy Cream Orange Juice Orange Zest Icing: Orange Juice Orange Zest Powdered Sugar

Combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl and add the butter

Step One

Cut in the butter until the mixture resemble course crumbs.

Step Two

Step Three

Combine the egg, cream, orange juice, and zest in another bowl.

Step Four

Add the wet ingredients to the dry.

Step Five

Mix the ingredients until a ball forms. 

Step Six

Pat the dough out into a 8" circle on a floured surface. Cut into 8 wedges. 

Step Seven

Place the wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until golden brown. 

Step Eight

Combine orange juice, zest, and powder sugar to make the icing. Drizzle the icing over the scones once they are cooled.
