- To reheat leftovers, simple heat in the microwave until desired temperature or heat in a skillet on the stove.
- Store leftover in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- If you want to keep leftovers longer they can be frozen for up to about 3 months.

- 1/2 cup onion chopped

- 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet combine the ground beef, onions, and green peppers. Cook over medium heat until the ground beef is browned and vegetables are tender.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and Italian seasoning, Mix well. Add the mozzarella cheese and stir in until it melts.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for this recipe.
- Saute the onions and green peppers with the ground beef, to ensure that they are cooked well.
- Drain any grease that there is after browning the ground beef.
- If you don’t like diced tomatoes, it can be substituted with tomato sauce.
- Wait until all of the ingredients are added and then add the salt and pepper to your taste.
- If you have leftovers , to reheat use the microwave to the desired temperature or place in a skillet and heat on the stove.ย
