Helpful tips
- Avoid adding the Italian sausage or bacon to the pizza until after it has been cooked. If you add the raw meat to the pizza, it may not cook properly.
- The Italian sausage and bacon can be cooked in advance, if desired, the day before.
- If you do not like making homemade pizza dough, store-bought dough will work. If using store-bought dough, you will need about one pound of pizza dough.
- It is best to stretch/pat the dough out by hand, instead of using a rolling pin. This will allow the air to stay in the dough, making a light and chewy crust. Start from the middle of the pan and work your way out. Making a thicker edge for the crust.
- Always preheat the oven before placing the pizza in it.
- Check the bottom of the crust before removing it from the oven. It should be likely brown. The cheese should be melted and lightly browned. This is how you will know that the pizza is done.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
- Heat leftovers in an oven that has been heated to 350 degrees F.

Pizza topping
- 3/4 cups pizza sauce
- 16 ounces mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces Italian Sausage
- 4 ounces deli ham
- 4 ounces pepperoni
- 6 slices bacon
Instructions
Pizza dough
- Mix one cup of the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a medium bowl. Add the water and oil to the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add enough of the flour to make a soft dough. Knead for a minute or two. Grease the bottom of the bowl and turn over the dough so that it is coated on both sides. Set aside to rise while cooking the meat.

- In a medium skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
- The bacon can be fried in a skillet or baked in a 400-degree Foven until it is lightly crispy. Place the bacon on a paper towel to remove excess grease.
Make the pizza

- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned and the bottom of the crust is lightly browned.
